Laura Pisani dazzled audiences in Kiel and Oldenburg, and — in late November last year — in Buenos Aires at the Teatro Colón; this autumn she returns there as Antonia in The Tales of Hoffmann. (rave reviews — see links) In addition, she will sing further Traviata performances in Argentina, and later Les Noces (The Peasant Wedding – a ballet cantata / choreographic work with singing, by Igor Stravinsky) in Brazil.

From January 2027, she will join the ensemble of the Oldenburg State Theatre on a permanent contract. There she will first take on the leading role of Eurydice in Manfred Trojahn’s opera of the same name — a production that will also mark the work’s German premiere in Oldenburg.
“Laura was amazing. She not only sang beautifully but was traviata with all her different facets of emotion. Her sincerity and portrayal of Traviatas vulnerability made me cry several times. The audience was captivated and wanted to applaud even in between when she had pauses in her arias or in her ensembles. I have heard alot of traviatas who are currently on the top and Laura I must say in all honesty is up there.”
